How my journey began

Throughout my teenage years, I was blessed with teachers and mentors who all saw the best in me. Instead of seeing my struggles, they saw my strengths and that pulled me through some very complicated situations.

I personally know the power of inspiring mentors!

I had the job I had always wanted, a warm community, friends and my dream job!

And then…

I moved to Israel-

To a new country-

MY LIFE WAS OVER! 

Or I thought my life was over…

I remember after my kids had gone to sleep , sitting on the porch and just crying. 

I went from being top of my game, loved my community,  had friends and my ideal job-to nothing.

I was struggling to find myself, my kids were struggling to adjust academically, socially, and emotionally.

I’ve dealt with my children being diagnosed, failing in school, being bullied and really struggling socially. 

It was daunting! I felt completely alone and at a loss. There was no one to help me with my kids! How am I supposed to know how to help them!?

It took a lot of work through mindset skills which helped both myself and my kids get to the success we are having today.

It makes me so happy to see the confidence my kids have in their own abilities. 

Their resilience has allowed them to thrive! 

Due to the resilience they have uncovered, my kids are all doing well academically and they are well adjusted socially.

They have learned to deal with bullies and I hear from their teachers’ how much confidence they have.

Since then…

I’ve been sharing this with the teens in my community and campers and staff in Pioneers in Camp Sternberg.

I have seen so much success that I feel inspired to serve teenagers throughout the year.

AND SO….

MY JOURNEY AS A COACH BEGAN…
